Fun Projects for Adults & Kids to Sew Together!
Details
Sewing is an excellent skill to learn - but is also really fun to do together! These sessions are 3hrs (1-4pm, with a short snack break) & we will be running these sessions on the last Sunday of each month. Each project is suitable for beginners & you can delve into our scrap box for plenty of decoration & personalisation! All materials are provided, you can choose once booked & will be cut ready for you to sew straight away. These sessions are suitable for ages 5+ - All children under 11 must be joined by a supervising adult - One adult can supervise up to 2 children (under 8) or 3 children (age 9-11) - Supervising adults attend free of charge (but can help sew as much as needed!) - Adults can make a project too! Just book an extra place Sessions 26th January - Aprons Make an apron ideal for cooking, gardening or just general messy fun! 23rd February - Bowl Cozies Make two cozies - ideal for holding soup bowls or ice cream 30th March - Bunnies Make a bunny friend, ideal for Easter 27th April - Pocket Pillows Great for the bedroom or living room, store remotes, books & all sorts of bits and pieces! Cancellation Policy
Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online - Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. YOUNG CREATIVES EASTER HOLIDAY SESSIONS - Payments must be received in full when booking - Any cancellations received before 24th March will receive a full refund - Any cancellations received between 25th & 31st March will receive a 50% refund - Payment cannot be refunded for any cancellations received after 31st March MYO Workshops: - £10 deposit is non-refundable, this covers admin fees & workshop planning - Workshops not held at Learn & Create (Newtonmore) must be held at community venues e.g. village or church halls, not your own home - Venues will need to have their own public liability insurance, provide electricity outlets, chairs & tables. - Booking & payment of a community venue is the responsibility of the individual/group (if not using Learn & Create in Newtonmore). - Individual/Group must inform the venue if the chosen workshop will include sewing equipment. All Learn & Create equipment is PAT tested & we can provide details of our insurance if necessary. - Remaining payments are due 3 weeks before your workshop date & are non-refundable from this point Charity Events: - We Heart Crafts Day: These sessions are non-refundable. This is to ensure we can provide all materials as well as provide a donation to Mikeysline Young Creatives & After School Clubs ​​If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
